Makun Darvis didn’t really know why he bothered to follow the girl outside, but she seemed willing and the party was boring - you couldn’t blame him for trying to get a little action. It was darker than he had expected it to be on the patio. A lightning storm was flashing on the horizon, too far away to be anything but a pretty show.
She was walking in front of him, about a head shorter. His eyes traveled down her body, his hands reaching out for her hips - and then in an uncomfortably abrupt turn of events he was up against the wall of the house, held in place by a wiry arm that seemed too strong for its size. The girl was like a spider, skinny limbs holding him still as he struggled to catch the breath caught in his throat.
She leaned in towards his face, up on her toes. Her grey eyes locked with his, and she moved in closer, closer, closer until their noses were almost touching. She squinted, marring her otherwise impassive expression. He wilted beneath her stare.
She spoke softly, and he could hardly feel her breath against his face.
"I am going to be seducing you now."
He wasn’t sure he liked the sound of that.
